When I started Kittie Komittee, the goal was simple: Rescue and rehabilitate animals who need our help. While most of our expertise is with cats, we have also helped dogs and bunnies. We are a small group of passionate, committed animal lovers dedicated to taking homeless animals off the street or out of dangerous situations and providing foster care, vaccines, spay/neuter suegeries & medical treatment until they are adoptable. We also facilitate TNR for truly feral cats who cannot be socialized. Kittie Komittee has partnered with EDL Foundation, Buddy's Angels, Beople's Buddies, The Rescue Team, Cats at the Studios, Sante D'Or and Stray Cat Alliance for some of our rescue missions. It truly takes a village!
While we cannot personally rescue every animal we are contacted about, we will always do our best to
provide resources and help network animals in need.
We believe in sharing tools and spreading awareness to others in the community who want to help animals in need. It's a team effort and anyone can learn. Helping in any way, big or small adds up.
My love for animals has been a lifelong passion. in 2012, I began independently rescuing and advocating for stray and feral cats in my neighborhood in Hollywood, CA.
In 2017 my rescue efforts reached a larger scale when I was alerted to a number of homeless female cats with kittens in the LA area. It was the height of kitten season which meant that shelters, rescues, and other fosters were overloaded, so I created Kittie Komittee! Read more about some of our rescue missions HERE.
Thanks to an amazing network of friends and fellow animal lovers who have given their time and opened their homes to foster, help fund and care for these loving creatures, we have saved over 75 animals and assisted with the rescue of many more. Kittie Komittee is ever growing.
We also offer customized Pet-Sitting services for your special felines! Click HERE for more info.
